The current Mentaro product supports the complete path from defining an interview target to practicing, assessing knowledge, and returning to difficult questions.
Personalized preparation programs
Create preparation goals around a role, seniority, technology stack, interview date, or a job description you provide. Review the suggested topics, set their importance and target depth, and keep several goals active without pausing the others.
Technical learning sessions
Work through focused card sessions that combine new questions with due and difficult reviews. Assess each answer as I don’t know, Partially, or Confident so the next review reflects the knowledge gap you actually found.
AI explanations and question chat
Open a concise explanation when a card exposes a gap, then continue with a question-specific AI conversation. Explanations reflect the question and card difficulty, and the conversation stays available across preparation goals.
Spaced reviews and progress tracking
Knowledge, review schedules, AI chats, and the daily card budget are shared across your preparation goals. One answer can update achievement in several goals, while each goal keeps its own program, priorities, and target depth.
Classic voice mock interview
Practice a 15-minute, turn-based technical interview focused on selected topics from your preparation goal. This experimental mode includes adaptive follow-up questions, a transcript, evidence-based feedback, and recommendations for further practice.

The next milestones build on existing learning and interview workflows. Implemented features with remaining validation or rollout gates are not yet generally available.
Realtime voice interview rollout
Realtime technical interviews are implemented for 15- and 30-minute sessions, with streaming audio, interruptions, and reconnect support. Availability is controlled by rollout flags and browser support; real-provider and release checks remain before wider rollout.
Concept-centered learning
The learning flow groups questions into concepts within each topic and separates coverage from confidence. Session selection, concept navigation, and progress views are implemented, with remaining content-compatibility and end-to-end acceptance checks before release.
Public job search pilot
Anonymous job search, filters, vacancy details, and links to original postings are implemented behind a feature flag. The FreeHire integration remains a controlled pilot, with source-policy and launch-readiness checks still required.
Next steps and longer-term direction
Planned
Vacancy-to-preparation integration is the next planned job-search step. Broader product directions remain planned for 2027, with scope and timing subject to validation.
Team and B2B preparation
Mentaro is planned to support organizations preparing candidates and engineering teams through shared learning programs. Administrative controls and team-level reporting will be defined before implementation begins.
Vacancy favorites and preparation
Save vacancies to an account and carry a selected posting into a new or existing preparation draft. These job-search actions are not available yet; users will review and confirm the suggested program before activation.
Multilingual interface
Broader interface localization is planned beyond the existing English and Russian job-search interface and interview language selection. Coverage across the preparation experience and rollout order will follow real user needs.
Mobile application
A dedicated mobile application is planned for focused daily sessions and reviews away from a desktop. Its scope will follow the established web learning workflow instead of introducing a separate learning model.
