The current Mentaro product supports the complete path from defining an interview target to practicing, assessing knowledge, and returning to difficult questions.
Personalized preparation programs
Create a preparation goal around a role, seniority, technology stack, and interview date. Review the suggested topics, set their importance and target depth, and keep one goal active while other goals remain paused or completed.
Technical learning sessions
Work through focused card sessions that combine new questions with due and difficult reviews. Assess each answer as I don’t know, Partially, or Confident so the next review reflects the knowledge gap you actually found.
AI explanations and question chat
Open a concise explanation when a card exposes a gap, then continue with a question-specific AI conversation. The explanation stays anchored to the card, topic, target depth, and preparation goal.
Spaced reviews and progress tracking
Return to uncertain cards through adaptive review intervals and see learning activity, topic coverage, and card status. Progress remains separate for each preparation goal even when the underlying cards are reusable.

The next product milestone extends structured preparation into a short interview practice format while preserving the same goal and topic context.
Voice mock interview
A 15-minute, turn-based technical interview will present a focused sequence of questions based on the active preparation goal. Adaptive follow-up questions will respond to each answer, followed by evidence-based feedback and recommendations for further practice.
Longer-term direction

These directions describe where Mentaro may expand after the core individual preparation workflow and voice interview milestone are established.
Team and B2B preparation
Mentaro is planned to support organizations preparing candidates and engineering teams through shared learning programs. Administrative controls and team-level reporting will be defined before implementation begins.
Job-description integration
A future workflow is planned to turn a specific job description into preparation context and topic recommendations. Users will remain responsible for reviewing and confirming every suggested change to their program.
Multilingual interface
The product interface and learning experience are planned to support additional languages beyond English. Language coverage and rollout order will be determined from real user needs rather than assumed in advance.
Mobile application
A dedicated mobile application is planned for focused daily sessions and reviews away from a desktop. Its scope will follow the established web learning workflow instead of introducing a separate learning model.
